Feedback from student :-University of New Haven

feedback from canada students

I am doing very good, thank you.

University of New Haven(UNH) is pretty good university. I would definitely recommend this university for Engineering students. The faculty is very good and helpful. Scholarships and financial aid is not as good as one would expect. If some is trying to come to USA and is not sure about getting acceptance from any other University, then UNH is the best choice. It prefers international students and especially Indian students.

On campus jobs are not easy to get. I am not interested in working a part time job. Getting a job after graduation is not easy, and one does not have a job security either. I currently have my own business and do help students to make extra income on part time basis. If some students are looking at UNH or even other universities in USA to study, but have concern about finding a part time job I can definitely help them. One more thing weather over here is not very pleasant, which is why most of the students prefer to transfer after a semester or two.

Also, don’t hesitate to ask for more information. KC has helped me a lot with application process and I am very thankful to them.

Thank You.

Feedback from student :- Florida State University

feedback from canada studentsGreetings Krishna Consultants,

I am good and hope that everything is well at krishna too. Sorry for not sending any feedback mail earlier, just got busy with student life. Mam FSU is a very good university with a very pleasant surrounding to study, and very good & helping faculty and people. It has good  funding for Mechanical and Electrical students. Computer Science department also have good funding but courses offered here are not that good. I got in-state tution waiver in 2nd sem. Part time can be found only in the beginning or in the end of a semester at different departments. I have a part time job which i got in Jan 2012 only. For Phd student, CS and other departments offers many TA and RA positions. Graduated student form FSU do get job after graduating but i dont know many seniors so cant tell in detail. But companies like microsoft, ACS and many other visit campus for internship and full time job. Only bad thing is Tallahassee is a town so will not get city facilities and places to check out. But i like Tallahassee!.

Please let me know if you want any other specific information. I Will definitely visit Krishna  when i will come back home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Agrawal mam, Sharmila mam, and all other for helping me and my dad during that tough time.

Feedback from student : Portland State University

feedback from usa, uk, canada , germany students

I’m fine. Doing good.

1. Portland State University is really good. VLSI field is very nice here.

2. The faculty members are helpful and very experienced. They do have real time industry projects to work on, which is very good platform to build our career.

3. Scholarships and financial aid are limited and you need to be really good in all areas to get that. You may get the funding in 3rd or 4th quarter of your masters degree when some professor really knows you.

4. Part time jobs are easy to get. All you need is good communication skills and need to be aware of things around you. Yes I do have part time job.

5. Job opportunities are available at this moment. The advantage of PSU is that, here many companies are located nearby, like Intel, Micron, Synopsys, and some academic courses are designed by Intel itself so, yes chances of getting full-time job are good.

In other experience, the important thing is weather, here in Portland it rains ( drizzles ) for almost 9 months of a year, foggy days instead of sunshine, which is little different for us. So be prepared accordingly.

Also if a student is having free time of 2-4 months before coming here, please ask him/her to learn C,  C++, java or any other programming language. That really helps a lot to get on campus jobs and TA & RA.

I’m glad to hear from you. Do ask me if someone needs some help.

Thanks & Regards.
